Three of my paintings will be included in "From Mice to Monsters: Illustrations for Children," a group show at Brooklyn's 440 Gallery.

The opening is 6-9pm on Thursday, June 28.  I will also be giving a talk on Sunday, July 22.  Refreshments will be served at both events. My work has been exhibited before but this is my first gallery show.  Very exciting!  Please come!

It's true.  This weekend, I'll be opening the locked doors of my studio TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE FIRST TIME, as part of the Atlantic Avenue Artwalk (downloadable map). We'll start at 1pm Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  The first five attendees will receive a key to the city.  I'm not saying which city. Later we'll have snacks and an art project.  I'll show work from my book-in-progress and other interesting things. All visitors may have their photo taken in a vintage child-sized top hat I brought back from Paris.  I'm pretty sure it's magic!

If that's not enough enticement, Holly & Dave will host a lemonade stand & tag sale out front.  I hear they make crazy deals.

GUION OPEN STUDIO AND RIBBON-CUTTING CEREMONY

1pm - 6pm Saturday & Sunday, June 5-6. 264 Dean Street (b/w Nevins & 3rd Ave)
